Gauhati University Holds Anti-Child Marriage Awareness Drive

The NSS Cell of Gauhati University organised an awareness campaign under the Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat Abhiyan on its campus on Saturday to sensitise students against child marriage.

Speakers highlighted child marriage as a social evil that harms education, health and development. Students and NSS volunteers took a pledge to oppose the practice and promote child rights.
