Gauhati University Hosts Red Run for HIV/AIDS Awareness

Guwahati: Gauhati University’s Red Ribbon Club, in association with the Assam State AIDS Control Society, organised a state-level Red Run Marathon on October 23 to promote HIV/AIDS awareness, fitness and reduce stigma. Sports Minister Biswajit Daimary attended as chief guest, with over 200 participants joining from across Assam.

Matibar Ali of Suren Das College won the boys’ category, while Pahi Keot of Dr BKB College topped the girls’ category. Winners received cash prizes, medals, trophies and certificates.
