Gauhati University Issues Strict Directive on Hostel Rule Violations

Gauhati University has ordered students who have completed their previous courses and are still occupying hostel rooms to vacate by October 31. This applies to students who have taken admission into new courses and violates hostel rules. FYIMP students in PG hostels must also vacate by the same deadline. Non-compliance will lead to disciplinary action. Hostel wardens have been instructed to enforce the directive, approved by the Vice-Chancellor.
