Gauhati University Renames Centre for Performing Arts After Zubeen Garg

Gauhati University has announced several initiatives to honour the late cultural icon Zubeen Garg. The Centre for Performing Arts and Culture will now be known as the Zubeen Garg Centre for Performing Arts and Culture. A statue of the artiste will be installed, a coffee table book on his life will be published, and the Inter-College Youth Festival will feature a dedicated “Zubeen Garg Song” segment to keep his legacy alive.
