Gaurav Gogoi Alleges Land Grab by Assam CM’s Family

Assam Congress president Gaurav Gogoi on Wednesday alleged that Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his family have occupied nearly 12,000 bighas of land across the state. Addressing a press conference, Gogoi said the claim was based on an internal Congress probe and that further verification is ongoing. The APCC has launched a campaign, including a website and QR code, to collect public information on Sarma’s assets. Gogoi also accused the CM of reviving allegations against him to deflect attention. The BJP has not responded to the claims, while the Congress alleged its newly launched website was hacked.
