Gaurav Gogoi Blames CM Over Newspaper Burning, Raises Poll Concerns

Gaurav Gogoi blamed Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for the burning of newspapers in Sivasagar, alleging that repeated targeting of media created such incidents. He also claimed journalists are being intimidated and attacked by ruling party workers.

Gogoi further raised concerns over election fairness, questioning the role of the Election Commission and alleging bias, harassment of Congress workers, and misuse of administrative machinery.
