Gaurav Gogoi Claims BJP Leaders Set to Join Congress, Slams Himanta

Assam Congress chief Gaurav Gogoi said several frustrated BJP leaders are in touch with Congress and will soon switch sides, alleging that the BJP has turned into “Himanta Biswa Sarma & Pvt Ltd.” Speaking at a joining ceremony in Guwahati, Gogoi accused the CM of arrogance and failing in health and education sectors. The event saw ex-AGP MLA Satyabrata Kalita, former BJP MLAs Binanda Saikia and Mansing Rongpi, along with leaders from BJP, AGP, AIUDF, and AJP formally join Congress. A larger joining programme is scheduled for October 10.
