Gaurav Gogoi Demands Action on Delayed Tribal Bills

MP Gaurav Gogoi raised concerns in Parliament over delays in two key bills: the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Amendment) Bill, 2019, and the Constitution (125th Amendment) Bill, 2019.

The first bill seeks to include six ethnic communities in Assam’s Scheduled Tribes list, while the second strengthens tribal autonomy in northeastern states.
