Gaurav Gogoi Slams CM Sarma’s Allegations as “Super Flop”

Assam Congress president Gaurav Gogoi has strongly rejected Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s allegations of Pakistani links, calling the claims “mindless and bogus” and comparing the CM’s press conference to a “super flop cinema.”

Gogoi questioned the timing of the allegations and the six-month delay in making them public, alleging political motive. He said Sarma failed to convince even journalists present at the briefing.

Earlier, Sarma said the claims were based on official inputs and demanded clarification from Gogoi regarding his 2013 Pakistan visit, citing SIT findings. The Congress has dismissed the charges as politically driven and aimed at diverting attention from key issues.
