Gaurav Gogoi Urges ECI to Ensure Due Process in Assam Voter List Revision

APCC president Gaurav Gogoi has asked the Election Commission to ensure that no voter’s name is deleted without due process during the ongoing Special Revision of electoral rolls in Assam. In a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer, he sought an enquiry into the acceptance of large numbers of incomplete and unverified Form-7 applications. Gogoi alleged violations of ECI rules and warned that bulk submissions could target specific communities, urging strict scrutiny and transparency to protect genuine voters.
