Girl cadets from NCC prepare for their combined yearly training camp.

At the Narengi Transit Facility (NTF), Narengi, the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC)-115 of Girls NCC Cadets of 60 Assam Girls Bn NCC, Guwahati, of NCC Gp HQ, Guwahati, under NCC Dte NER, Shillong, commenced on January 2, 2024, and will run through January 11, 2024.

Over the course of ten days, cadets from different institutions in the area came together to take part in a variety of training sessions and activities designed to develop civic responsibility, leadership, and teamwork in the young people. Just 27 schools, colleges, and universities in Guwahati and the surrounding areas are sending a total of 350–375 female NCC cadets to the camp. These female cadets attend different institutions in Guwahati and the surrounding areas as ninth-grade students through third-year graduates.
