GMC Launches Special Drive for Faster Building Approvals

The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has initiated a Special Drive from February 1 to March 31, 2025, to streamline Building Permissions, Occupancy Certificates, and Regularisation Applications. Citizens can visit the GMC office at Uzan Bazar for faster approvals.

Meanwhile, frequent pipeline leaks in areas like Panbazar PHED, MG Road, and Guwahati High Court are causing road damage and waterlogging. GMC plans to relocate pipelines to the roadside to prevent future issues.
