GMC to Host “Future City Guwahati” Conclave for Urban Solutions

The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) will organize a four-day “Future City Guwahati” Urban Solutions Conclave later this year to promote innovative ideas for making the city hassle-free.

The conclave will bring together experts, institutions, startups, and organizations to showcase sustainable interventions in solid and liquid waste management, as well as urban greening. Proposals may include smart waste collection, plastic recycling, decentralized sewage treatment, water body rejuvenation, and micro-forestation.

Applications are open until September 4, with shortlisted candidates to be announced by September 11. Selected participants will present their solutions through sessions, exhibitions, and poster displays.
