GNRC Hospital Sixmile Marks 17th Anniversary with Commitment to ‘Health for All, Smiles for All’

GNRC, the first super-speciality hospital in North East India, celebrated the 17th anniversary of its second facility at the NEDFI Convention Centre. Dr. Nomal Chandra Borah, the founder of Affordable Health Mission and GNRC Hospitals, highlighted the institution’s commitment to providing quality healthcare with transparency, honesty, and continuous improvement.

The event welcomed and felicitated Guests of Honour, including Dr. Sanjive Narain, Chairman cum Managing Director of AM Television Pvt Limited, Mr. Kaushik Deka Executive Editor of India Today Magazine, and Mr. Nitumoni Saikia, Editor In Chief of Pratidin Time. Dr. Borah expressed gratitude to employees and the media for contributing to GNRC’s mission of “Health for All, Smiles for All.”

Emphasizing preventive healthcare, Dr. Borah spoke about GNRC’s efforts in this area through the GNRC Affordable Health Mission, involving dedicated Swasthymitras across the state. The hospital’s commitment to evidence-based practice and NABH standards for quality care was reiterated.

Dr. Mainular Rahman, Chief Operating Officer, reflected on the hospital’s journey, expressing pride in serving the community with exceptional healthcare. The hospital has expanded services, adopted new technologies, and enhanced patient experience over the years.

Dr. Prasenjit Deka, from the Department of Neurology at GNRC Sixmile, concluded the event by expressing gratitude to colleagues, the media, and the community for supporting the hospital’s vision, acknowledging the dedication of the entire GNRC family.
