Golaghat Panchayat Vote Counting Set for May 11

Vote counting for Golaghat district’s May 2 Panchayat polls will be held on May 11 at four centers. Golaghat Engineering College will count votes for Golaghat and Khumtai; Sarupathar Higher Secondary School for Sarupathar; Bokakhat and Dergaon Higher Secondary Schools for their respective areas. Counting begins at 8 AM, with strong rooms opened at 7 AM. Over 2,200 personnel have been deployed, and 417 postal ballots will be counted. Voter turnout across the district was 72.86%.
