Barpeta Road: Gold ornaments reportedly worth a family’s lifetime savings were allegedly stolen from Mithu Choudhury’s vanity bag while she was attending Durga Puja celebrations at Muri Bazar on Tuesday night. Choudhury, a resident of Haritakitola, had visited the Puja pandal with her daughter.
