Govt Driver Arrested for Killing Vendor in Guwahati Over Personal Dispute

A government driver, Lal Hussain Ali, was arrested for killing 35-year-old vendor Taibuddin Ahmed in Guwahati. Initially thought to be a road accident, the case was later identified as a premeditated murder fueled by jealousy over the victim’s relationship with Ali’s second wife. Ali used a government vehicle to ram into the victim and drag him for 400 meters before fleeing. Police have seized the vehicle, and further investigations are ongoing.
