Green Bus Service Launched on Mazbat–Tezpur Route

An eco-friendly green bus service was launched at Mazbat in Udalguri district on Saturday by Assam Transport Minister Charan Boro. The electric bus will operate daily on the Mazbat–Tezpur route, offering cleaner public transport.

The launch was attended by BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary, BTC deputy chief Rihan Daimary, and Assam minister Jayanta Malla Baruah. The bus can run up to 120 km on a single charge. Officials said a charging station is planned for Udalguri to expand green bus services across the district.
