Guwahati Airport’s New Terminal to Open by October

The new terminal at Guwahati’s LGBI Airport, managed by the Adani Group, is set to open by October. Assam Chief Secretary Ravi Kota has directed departments to fast-track work and ensure coordination. Key infrastructure like roads, lighting, and drainage is being prioritized. A MoU between Assam PWD and Adani Airport Holdings will support final project stages. Once operational, the terminal will boost annual passenger capacity to 13 million.
