Guwahati Asian Film Festival 2025 Begins on February 7

The inaugural Guwahati Asian Film Festival (GAFF) 2025 will start on February 7 at Jyoti Chitraban Film Studio. The three-day event will showcase 25 feature films from across Asia, including a competitive section for Northeast Indian films. Iranian film In the Arms of the Tree will open the festival. Notable guests include Sri Lankan filmmaker Prasanna Vithanage and actor Sheeba Chaddha. Due to high demand, online delegate registration closed early on January 31.
