Guwahati Citizens Request Resumption of Bus Services on Kalipur-Maskhowa Route

The Citizen Coordination Committee of Guwahati has requested Chief Minister’s intervention to resume city bus services from Kalipur (Bhutnath) to Maskhowa, halted due to the construction of the elevated approach road for the Guwahati-North Guwahati Brahmaputra Bridge. The road section’s closure since March 4, 2013, has caused inconvenience, especially for students and staff of nearby educational institutions. The committee seeks the reopening of the route and resumption of bus services, citing reduced congestion. Copies of the memorandum have been sent to relevant authorities.
