Guwahati District Library Set for Transformation into Modern Facility

The Guwahati District Library is undergoing a transformation into a state-of-the-art building with an 8-storey infrastructure, including a basement and ground floor, costing Rs 51 crore. The renovated building will feature four dedicated library floors, accommodating a vast collection of books and reading materials. Additionally, three general study areas will provide a conducive environment for students and researchers. The facility will also include amenities such as a bookstore and cafeteria.
