Guwahati hosted a workshop on Samarth E-Gov

The Department of Higher Education, Government of Assam, arranged a zonal workshop at Dispur College on Friday for practical training on the Samarth E-Gov finance, examination/academic, and employee management modules. The Secretary of the Government of Assam’s Higher Education Department, Narayan Konwar, stressed how digitising the education sector would streamline, expedite, and simplify processes.

According to a press release, approximately 77 principals from the districts of Kamrup (M), Kamrup, Nalbari, and Darrang participated in the aforementioned workshop and received hands-on training from specially trained Samarth team members on various aspects related to the management and administration of colleges in Assam.
