Guwahati Jal Board Warns of Potential Pipeline Leaks During Hydro Test

The Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) has alerted residents and businesses near the Piyoli Phukan Road-Holy Child School pipeline about possible leaks due to a hydro test. The test, being conducted on a 1500-mm-diameter MS transmission main pipe from Piyoli Phukan Road to Holy Child School, will run from Monday, July 1 to Wednesday, July 3. This test is part of essential maintenance of the water supply pipeline. The GJB assured that any detected leaks will be promptly addressed and rectified by their maintenance teams.
