Guwahati marks the third death anniversary of former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi

On Thursday, the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) held a shraddhanjali programme at Rajiv Bhawan to commemorate the third death anniversary of former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi.

Former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi’s life story was elaborated on by APCC working president Rana Goswami. Goswami stated “former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi deserves to be remembered for the measures he took to revive the sinking economy of the state during his time. The people of the state will also remember Tarun Gogoi for his political wisdom to save Assam from the militants.”
