Guwahati Police Bust Sex Trafficking Racket at City Guest House, Four Arrested

Guwahati Police have busted a suspected sex trafficking racket operating out of Baptice Inn, a city guest house. Acting on a tip-off, a team led by DCP Mrinal Deka arrested four individuals, including the alleged mastermind Dilip Hazarika.

Women were reportedly trafficked from across Assam, coerced into sex work, and monitored in rented apartments. Online platforms were used for client coordination. Police recovered CCTV footage, a laptop, and a logbook, now under forensic review. Three women were rescued; further investigations are ongoing.
