Guwahati Police rescued two minor girls from a hotel in Paltan Bazar on Tuesday. The girls, from Odalbakra, fled their jobs as house help early that morning with a man named Shahjahan Ali. After their employers reported them missing, a search led to their rescue. Ali, a neighboring housekeeper, has been detained for further investigation.
