Guwahati Prepares for 77th Republic Day with Tight Security

Guwahati completed final preparations to celebrate the 77th Republic Day at Khanapara with elaborate arrangements and heightened security. About 24 platoons from Assam Police, central armed forces, and Mizoram Police will take part in the parade, along with school, NCC, Scouts and Guides contingents. Cultural performances and band displays are also planned, followed by a ceremonial flower shower by the Indian Air Force. Security has been tightened across the city to ensure smooth celebrations.
