Guwahati Press Club Seeks PIB Accreditation Cards for Working Journalists

Guwahati, Assam: The Guwahati Press Club has urged the Central Government to issue Press Information Bureau (PIB) accreditation cards to working journalists in the city, saying the move would improve access to information and strengthen their professional work. A delegation submitted a memorandum to senior PIB officials, who assured that the demand would be examined and appropriate action considered.
