Guwahati Resident Arrested for Supplying Drone Components to Manipur Terrorist Groups

Sanjib Kumar Mishra from Guwahati’s Noonmati area was apprehended by the Special Task Force (STF) for aiding terrorist organizations in Manipur. Mishra’s arrest followed a coordinated operation that seized drone components intended for illicit use. The STF is actively dismantling networks supplying advanced technology to banned groups, marking a significant success in preventing sabotage in violence-plagued Manipur. Mishra is charged under STF PS Case No 10/2024 U/S 121 IPC R/W 16/18 UA (P) Act. 1967. This arrest follows the June 14 capture of Khaigoulen Kipgen, who possessed drone batteries, highlighting an organized effort to equip terrorists with drone technology.
