Guwahati Traffic Police Clears 114 Unclaimed Vehicles

Guwahati Traffic Police has towed 114 unclaimed vehicles since January 21 to ease congestion and free parking spaces. Of these, 29 were returned after verification, 34 sent to garages, and 49 moved to parking zones. Two stolen vehicles were identified, and legal actions have started. Citizens can report abandoned vehicles through police stations, social media, or a dedicated WhatsApp number. The initiative has been widely appreciated for improving traffic flow and parking availability.
