Guwahati’s LGBI Airport Records Remarkable Growth in 2024

Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBIA), managed by Adani Airport Holdings Limited, handled 6.26 million passengers in 2024. This includes 3.09 million domestic arrivals, 3.17 million domestic departures, and over 86,000 international passengers.

The airport set a single-day record of 21,444 passengers on December 12. New international routes to Paro, Malaysia, and Singapore boosted passenger traffic, alongside three domestic routes: Ahmedabad, Durgapur, and Ziro.

Cargo handling surged to 10,089 MT, with 225 MT of perishable cargo processed in December alone. LGBIA also achieved Level 2 ACI Customer Experience Accreditation, reflecting its commitment to service excellence.
