Habitual Criminal Injured While Escaping Police Custody

Asadul Islam, a 30-year-old habitual criminal, was injured while trying to escape police custody near Chachal on March 6. Arrested for multiple snatching cases, he attempted to flee by attacking a constable but was hit by a Bolero pickup. He is now admitted to GMCH, while police continue their investigation.
