Hagrama Mohilary to Take Oath as BTC Chief on October 3

BPF chief Hagrama Mohilary will be sworn in as Chief Executive Member of the Bodoland Territorial Council on October 3, following the party’s landslide win of 28 out of 40 seats. The BPF met the Assam Governor on September 28 to stake claim, with CM Himanta Biswa Sarma also set to attend. Land rights and public welfare are top priorities.
