Hajj Preparatory Camp in Sivasagar Marred by Dispute Allegations

A training and felicitation programme for Hajj pilgrims was held on March 29 at Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Bibah Bhawan, organised by the Axomiya Syed Kalyan Nyas district committee.

The event was arranged for 95 pilgrims from Sivasagar set to undertake the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage, with 84 participants attending.

Speakers highlighted the significance of Hajj, followed by a training session to guide pilgrims.

However, allegations of mismanagement surfaced, with claims that some senior pilgrims were ignored, leading to confusion and heated exchanges during the programme.
