Hamidabad College Principal Arrested for Embezzling Rs 70 Lakh

The Chief Minister’s Special Vigilance Cell (CM’s SVC) arrested Shahadot Ali, Principal of Hamidabad College, for embezzling Rs 70 lakh. He was caught in Hatigaon after evading arrest since August 2024. Ali is accused of misappropriating funds by creating fake bills and using counterfeit signatures. His request for anticipatory bail was previously rejected by the High Court. A case (9/24) has been registered against him.
