High-Level Meeting Held Ahead of PM Modi’s March 13 Visit to Kokrajhar

A high-level meeting was held at Manas Guest House in Dhaligaon, Chirang district, on Thursday to review preparations for Narendra Modi’s visit to Kokrajhar on March 13.
The meeting was attended by Biswajit Daimary, Assam minister Jayanta Malla Baruah, Hagrama Mohilary, and several officials from the Bodoland Territorial Council.
During the visit, the Prime Minister is expected to lay foundation stones for several development projects. Around 1.5 lakh people are expected to attend the programme.
Meanwhile, Assam Police has issued a traffic advisory in Kokrajhar from 10 am to 5 pm on March 13 to ensure security and smooth movement of the VVIP convoy. Temporary traffic diversions and restrictions will be in place during the programme.
