Himanta Biswa Sarma Targets Gaurav Gogoi, Hints at Early Assam Elections

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma intensified his attack on Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi, alleging links with Pakistan and daring him to take legal action. Sarma said details would be made public on February 8 and denied trying to intimidate anyone. He also criticized AJP chief Lurinjyoti Gogoi and blamed Congress for Assam Movement casualties. Speaking in Jorhat, Sarma discussed BJP ticket distribution, warned against last-minute entrants, and hinted that Assembly elections could be held before Bihu.
