Hojai Police Dispose of Drugs Worth ₹8 Crore

Hojai Police destroyed drugs worth ₹8 crore at Srimanta Sankardev Nagar. The disposal included 3.5 kg opium, 467.389 kg ganja, 2.77925 kg heroin, 66 cough syrup bottles, and 880 tablets and capsules.

ASP Pallav Tamuli stated that the disposal was done per court orders and highlighted ongoing efforts to create a drug-free society. School students were invited to witness the event, reinforcing the message about the harmful effects of drugs.
