IIM Guwahati to Start Courses Next Academic Year

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the Union Education Ministry has approved the commencement of courses at IIM Guwahati from the next academic year. The announcement followed Sarma’s meeting with Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Additionally, discussions covered the PM-USHA scheme for state institutions and strengthening the Teacher Training Institute. The state will provide land for the new IIM, with IIM Ahmedabad acting as a mentor.
