IIT Guwahati Awards Degrees to 2,265 Students at 28th Convocation

Guwahati: IIT Guwahati awarded degrees to 2,265 students across various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes during its 28th Convocation Ceremony on Sunday.

Saptarshi Mukherjee received the President of India Gold Medal for topping the undergraduate batch. Chief guest Dr. Shivkumar Kalyanaraman congratulated the graduates, while IIT Guwahati Director Prof. Devendra Jalihal highlighted the institute’s research achievements and encouraged students to contribute to society through innovation.
