In a disturbing incident, three individuals overseeing illegal coal mining activities in Phinbiro, along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh boundary, were reportedly abducted in the Changlang district. The victims, identified as Gyan Thapa, Chandan Narzary, and Lekhok Bora from Assam, were working as supervisors for private coal traders in Lekhapani, Tinsukia district. The region is known for militant infestation, raising concerns that the abduction might be linked to ransom demands. Authorities are actively investigating the matter.
