Illegal Liquor Seized and Destroyed in Guwahati Raid

Police in Guwahati seized and destroyed a large quantity of illegal liquor during a raid at 13 Mile as part of an ongoing crackdown on illicit alcohol trade.

The operation was conducted by a team from Basistha Police Station under the East Guwahati Police District. Officials recovered around 280 litres of country-made liquor, which was destroyed on the spot, along with 20 bottles of IMFL totaling about 7 litres.

Police have initiated legal proceedings and launched further investigations to identify those involved in the production and distribution of illegal liquor in the area.
