Illegal Nursing Schools Shut Down in Tezpur

The Sonitpur district administration closed four illegal nursing schools in and around Tezpur town on Monday. The closed schools include North Eastern Para Medical Institute, Glad Institute of Para Medical Science and Nursing, Tezpur College of Para Medical Science, and the Institute of Public Health and Research. These schools were found operating without proper affiliation from the director of medical education (DME) or Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences.
