Illegal Soil Excavation Equipment Seized in Sivasagar

In Sivasagar district, authorities seized a JCB, dumper, and mini truck used for illegal soil excavation and transport along riverbanks. Circle Officer Nekib Sayeed Baruah led the operation in Desangmukh, handing over the vehicles to the Forest Department. A case under forest law has been registered, and further legal action is underway.
