In Assam’s Bodo regions, 5 solar-powered cold storage units to be installed

In order to increase the shelf life of the perishable goods produced in the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) areas of Assam, five solar-powered cold storage units will be installed there.

According to a press release, the BTC administration and the North East Regional Agriculture Marketing Corporation (NERAMAC), an organisation of the central government, signed an agreement to this effect on Monday in Kokrajhar.
