In Chirang, Assam, miscreants attack a forest range officer

In the Chirang district of Assam, on Friday, a group of miscreants assaulted a forest range officer, injuring him.

Sources claim that the incident happened in Odalguri in the Chirang-Ripu Reserved Forest, where a gang of miscreants assaulted and vandalised the range officer’s vehicle.

The range officer was hurt and is receiving treatment at a Bongaigaon private hospital.
