Indian Army Concludes Successful Agniveer Recruitment Rally in Udalguri
The Indian Army conducted a week-long Agniveer recruitment rally in Udalguri district, with around 25,000 youths participating from across Assam and seven northeastern states. Held from August 16 to 23 at the Upendranath Brahma Football Stadium, the rally aimed to recruit Agniveers and Junior Commissioned Officers (Religious Teachers). Out of the participants, 2,500 candidates were shortlisted for further selection. The rigorous process included physical and medical assessments, with successful candidates set to join training centers soon. The Army expressed gratitude to the Civil Administration and State Police for their support in the event’s success.
