India’s Tea Export Prices Rise by 12.77% in 2025

India’s tea exports fetched 12.77% higher prices between January and August 2025, the Tea Board of India reported. The country exported 174.42 million kg at an average of Rs 294.90 per kg, up from Rs 261.50 last year. Of this, 113.14 million kg came from North India, earning Rs 319.21 per kg, while South India exported 61.28 million kg at Rs 250 per kg. In 2024, total tea exports stood at 256.17 million kg at Rs 279.79 per kg.
