Job Fair for Ex-Servicemen Held at Narangi Cantonment

The Ministry of Defence organized a job fair at Narangi Cantonment, Guwahati, to connect ex-servicemen with employers. Over 1,000 veterans from the Army, Navy, and Air Force registered, while 55+ companies offered 1,500+ jobs and 250+ entrepreneurship opportunities.

Shortlisted candidates will be screened for roles ranging from supervisors to project directors. The event provided a platform for veterans to showcase their skills, benefiting both them and corporate employers. Assam Minister Prashanta Phukan inaugurated the event.
